Event Posting and Email Invitations
Are you organizing a local event (from major events like the State Fair to a yard sale or Church Events, Art Exhibits, Concerts, School Events, to Birthday Parties, Weddings, etc. Even Business and Sales Meetings or Industry Shows)?You can post both Public and Private events. Public Events are searchable and viewable by everyone, whereas private events are not. Typical Public Events can be anythng from a Garage Sale to the State Fair. Art shows, Home and Garden Shows, Yoga Retreats, Concerts, Plays, School events, Sports events, etc.
When the event is Private you use the Genie to send emails to invited participants. The event will not be searchable or viewable to the general public. You can even schedule multiple emails to automatically send invities reminders for the up-coming event.

(You cannot use this free service as a business email list manager and send newsletters or ads via the free event services - you must use have a paid account and then use the email list management services for this. Other restrictions also.
If you charge admission to your event, then the Genie can process the sales online charging a small fee for this service - however - if your company charges for an event but use othe companies to process your tickets, you can still post your events on MajicGenie.com, but your company will need to pay for our standard subscription rate)
Optionally you can supply a list of email addresses and the Genie will send invitations to your event. RSVP is also available. The Genie will let you know who is coming, even how many in their party.
Use this service with the Gift or Item Registry for even more convenience, Birthday parties, Weddings, Showers, etc. Also use for Church gatherings, group camping trips and more.

Gift and Item Registry for Events
Ever held a birthday party or baby shower, or wedding and wound up with 4 or 5 of the same gifts, but 0 of other items you could really use?Be good to yourself, and make it easy on your invited guests. Use the Gift Registry with our Private Event service and list the gifts that you would like. You can even put in links to ads where the item is being offered. The guests can then see which gift items are already chosen and can select from the remaining list what they will bring.

The Item Registry is basically the same as the Gift Registry with a different name. Rather than using the registry for gifts, you can use it for most any type of event and 'item'.
For example, say your organization is holding a pot-luck dinner. The organizer can make a list of preparations needed, such as Main dish, side dishes, salad, desert, drinks, or cups, plates, spoons forks, napkins, tables, charis etc. Those attending the event can see what is already chosen, and select what they will bring and/or be responsible for.

Need car repairs? Computer repairs? Plumbing, Electrical? Yard Work? House Cleaning, Baby-Sitting – Etc, etc.
Whatever your needs, let the Genie do his Majic. Create a Price Quote Request and the Genie will send it to all participating businesses that offer those services in your area. They will get back to you with quotes or to seek additional information needed to help you.
Post and Read Blog Reviews and Ratings Regarding Local Businesses and Services
When someone does a search for ads they get a list of all ads that match their keywords. Along the side of the lists there are 2 blog columns. One column is for reviews written by 'you', the local / buyer consumer.Let others know of your experiences. Had a good experience with a company or person who posted an ad, let others know. Write a short blog and rate the experience. Had a bad experience, then let others know. But, also let the business know and see if they will rectify the situation.

The other column is for the companies to post news about their industry and/or the local market that will be of interest to the consumers.

The MajicGenie offers a very dynamic over-all system where all the other features of our site act as a funnel bringing more people to your site, as opposed to ‘static’ email lists that are limited to only sending emails to existing customers, with no means of drawing-in new customers.

Whenever you post a new ad or sale for those items our Genie searches the Alert Requests and sends an email / txt msg to all those people whose alerts match. Many of those people may never have set foot in your business before, but, will now receive your ads in their email or directly to their cell phone.
Some people will want to be alerted when ‘any’ kind of coupon or sale is posted.
That means that every time you post an ad on MajicGenie any number of people who are not part of your business’s email list will still receive an email notice because they are interested in what you have to sell.

They create a Majic Genie Price / Service Quote Request, explaining what they need, when, etc. When they submit the request the Majic Genie searches our business listings, just as we do for Alert Requests, and those businesses that match what this person needs are sent an alert notifying those companies of a hot-live lead who needs your services.

Use Majic Genie Services For
Business To Business and Business To Consumer Marketing
The Majic Genie is engineered to be both a Business to Consumer and a Business to Business marketing tool. If your company is one that does most or even part of it’s business with, to and for other businesses, you can set your posted ads to be searchable only by other businesses, or only consumers, or both. In fact, you can select this on an ad by ad basis.
Your business can also post Alert Notifications that notify you when another business posts a B2B offer that matches your keywords. Your business can post Price/Service Requests that are B2B oriented. And, you can use Event Posting directed only to other businesses.
Or set up Events meant only for your own employees or sales force.
Auction Services
Currently eBay rules the national & international online auctions. But, there are many people who have bulky items that are not easy to ship. Or, local stores that want to auction off inventory that just hasn’t sold, but don’t want to hassle with packaging and shipping. MajicGenie’s local auctions is the perfect fit.Our Auction system is flexible and at this time we do not charge any additional fees for paid accounts for commercial use of auctions, even for vehicles or expensive items.
Industry Bloging On Relavant Pages
When someone does a search for ads they get a list of all ads that match their keywords. Along the side of the lists there are 2 blog columns. One column is for the consumers to post reviews of their experiences with the different companies.The other is for paying accounts to write blogs about their industry or their market in general. The purpose is to provide the public with additional "insider" information on the topic being displayed. You can’t post items or advertise specific services, but you can mention your company name in the blog, which will provide a little more exposure for your business.
Additional Paid Advertising Opportunities
On the public Event pages we will provide space for an ad column where businesses that sell items related to the events can place an ad.For example, businesses that sell baby items would be placed on Baby Shower events. Framing shops can be placed on Art Show Events, etc. Likewise for the pages that display Gift or Item Registries.
Those ads are not included in the standard account fees and are offered as an additional optional charge, based on a Pay Per Click basis.
On the Search listing pages where the ads, both business and private, are displayed, we will also have a side column with small ads which again will be Pay Per Click ads. Those ads will be separate from the list and the fees will be in addition to the standard fees
Post B2B Events ~ Only Searchable By Other Businesses
Businesses can post events that are only searchable by other businesses. Great for Trade Fairs, marketing events and other B2B events.You can also post Private or in-house events where only your member’s or sales force are to attend.
Free Business Listings
Businesses who, for whatever reason, don't want to opt for a paid subscription are invitedto sign-up for a Free Listing. Fee listings will show only as the business name, location and phone number. The business will still be able to set up a list of keywords from which our search engine will use during searches. Simply sign up for the commerical account and when you activate the account select the Free Listing option.
Free business accounts cannot post ads, coupons, cannot use the email list management features, are not givn 1,000 Coupon Vouchers, and are not recipients of the alert and price qupte request features.
There are restrictions to the free listing accounts. No listings are given, free or paid, to companies, individuals, who solicit for questionalbe MLM's, Home Business Ops, and ponzi scams and other questionable business solicitations. (The free listings only include the business name, location and phone number, no other descriptions or ad content is allowed on the free lists).
Even though a free listing gives minimal information, we encourage businesses to sign up for the free list because it still offers a good oportunity to promote your business at no cost. And, it will give your company a chance to see how effective the services can be for your business at no cost or obligation.
Fair, Equal and Automated Top Of List Exposure
Google and other search engines use their own formulas for calculating who gets displayed on top of a search list. To get on top of Google's search list is very difficult for most businesses. Many businesses never got on top of the list ever.On Craigslist your ad is posted on-top of the list only once, as they lists ads by date and time posted. As soon as another ad is posted, your ad moves down on the list forever.
We developed our own simple method which we feel is fair and equal what to speak of easy and convenient.
All ads are treated equally. We do not charge for top spots in the regular search column. Each ad is given equal exposure on top of the list via a rotational system. For a given search, the ad that has been the longest since being on top will be displayed on top for this search. This way, all ads will be displayed on top an equal number of times. And, unlike Craigslist, you don't have to keep re-publishing the same ad again and again to get to the top slot. Automatically and fairly all ads get equal top of the list exposure.
